MPLS គឺជា L2.5 Label Switching Protocol ប្រើសំរាប់បង្កើត Virtual Best Path រវាង End to End Point នៅលើ L3 Routing Protocols ដែលមានស្រាប់ ហើយវាធ្វើការ Forward Packet ជា Label ដែលលឿនជាង Routing protocols ធម្មតា។
